Pre-Tank Pumps

Pre-Tank Pumps

In systems that require the use of check valves or flap valves on the suction line, solid particles in the process liquid can eventually cause malfunctions on these components. As a result, the liquid in the suction line flows back, causing the pump to lose prime and run dry. When this occurs, the pump cannot draw liquid during startup, often leading to serious damage to the mechanical seal group. By integrating a pre-mounted suction tank in front of the pump, the suction line remains constantly filled with liquid, even when the pump is stopped — effectively preventing such failures.

Pre-tank pumps are manufactured upon request, tailored to specific operational requirements and capacities.
