Direct-Coupled Gas Scrubbers

Direct-Coupled Gas Scrubbers

Fan Structure

  • In direct-coupled fans, drive transmission is provided directly through the motor shaft.
  • The extraction and removal of chemical and acid vapors from corrosive environments are achieved using thermoplastic centrifugal fans with a snail-shaped (scroll) housing.
  • Both the impeller and housing of these centrifugal fans are manufactured from thermoplastic materials such as PP-H, U-PVC, HDPE, and PVDF, depending on the characteristics of the chemical gases.
  • All fan housings and impellers are precision CNC-cut.
  • During assembly, the impeller and housing parts are joined using an interlocking system, followed by thermoplastic welding for complete sealing and durability.
  • The fan support frames are entirely made of thermoplastic material.
  • Additional frame reinforcements or anti-vibration mounts can be provided upon request.
  • All fans are equipped with standard electric motors, epoxy-coated for enhanced protection, and thermoplastic motor covers are applied for outdoor installations.

Application Areas

  • In acidic and chemical air transfer systems
  • In flammable and explosive (Ex-proof) environments
  • In corrosive air atmospheres containing vapors
  • In laboratory and fume hood extraction systems
  • In chemical gas scrubbing plants (Scrubbers)
  • In chemical gas transfer applications In degassing (degasifier) systems
  • In rooftop fan installations
  • In industrial ventilation systems
