Belt-Driven Gas Scrubbers

Belt-Driven Gas Scrubbers

Fan Structure

  • In belt-driven fans, power transmission is provided through a belt and pulley system via a shaft with bearings.
  • Belt-driven designs allow operation at alternative rotational speeds.
  • The extraction and removal of chemical and acid vapors from corrosive environments are achieved using thermoplastic centrifugal fans with a scroll (snail-shaped) housing.
  • Both the impeller and housing of these centrifugal fans are manufactured from thermoplastic materials such as PP-H, U-PVC, HDPE, and PVDF, depending on the chemical gas characteristics.
  • All fan housings and impellers are precision CNC-cut.
  • The housing and impeller components are assembled using an interlocking system, followed by thermoplastic welding to ensure strength and airtight sealing.
  • Fan support frames are made of steel-reinforced thermoplastic materials with epoxy paint or galvanized coating.
  • Additional frame reinforcements and anti-vibration mounts can be supplied upon request.
  • The drive motor is epoxy-coated for corrosion resistance.
  • The bearing assembly, drive motor, and belt-pulley group are protected by safety covers made of thermoplastic material, providing full protection against external factors.
